On September 19 2025, several members of VFW Post 5917 and a few members of the community got together at the War Memorial at Village Hall.  They were there to honor and remember our military brothers and sisters who never made it home.  Even though the memorial lights were not functioning, the Post provided various candles, which presented a solemn environment for the event.

 

Members who participated are Greg Palmer, John Davin, Herschel Nelson, Bob Adame, Eric Morris, Patricia Branch, Larry Shaver, and Stan Charnevsky.

 

Please join us next year to remember our lost veterans, and bring the family and your friends, too.
