Members of VFW Post 5917,along with other Posts in the District, again participated in a wonderful day for the veterans at the Manteno Hone. It was a day of fun for the veteran residents with several exciting games of Bingo.  Members had an  an opportunity to win money from their successful Bingo cards.

 

VFW members from the District and  numerous members of the Bolingbrook High School Junior ROTC assisted the veterans with their Bingo cards, and their winnings.

 

This event is scheduled twice each year, March and October.  It's a wonderful opportunity for the Manteno residents to meet other veterans and the ROTC member, as well as have a nice afternoon of fun.

 

Come out in March 2026 and feel the great satisfaction of provided a small but meaningful service to our veterans.
