VFW Post 5917 participated in the Village of Bolingbrook Pathway Day Parade again this year.  This is an annual event and the Post is always prepared to support the Village.  

 

Mike Schmook generously contributed the use of his trailer which he decorates for our participations.  This year's participants were VFW Commander Greg Palmer, Post members Patricia and Harold Branch, Eric Morris (American Legion), Rosemary Nelson (VFW Auxiliary Volunteer), and enthusiastic supporters Cathy and Kate. Mike's wife Amy came along to support Mike and the VFW.

 

Mike provided candy to share with the kids, which Harold, Eric, Cathy and Kate walked the length of the parade passing out. Patricia took command of refilling their candy buckets throughout the parade.

 

A big thanks to our participants who made this a success for VFW Post 5917.
